About Francois Langlois - Mount Everest Climber and Inspirational Speaker:

Francois Langlois is Quebec’s third climber to reach the top of Mount Everest. Since his 2001 expedition he has had the opportunity to give numerous presentations of his Everest adventure, as well as share the lessons of life that he has learnt.

Sports and physical activities have been an integral part of Francois' life. Some of Francois' climbing experiences include: Mt. Rainier in Washington, rock climbing in Squamish BC, Eco-Challenge Training in Whistler BC, and Yukon’s Mount Logan, Canada’s highest mountain. Francois has also climbed four of the famous seven summits of the world: Mount Aconcagua of Argentina, Mount McKinley of Alaska, Mount Kilimanjaro of Africa, and Mount Everest, Nepal.

Born in Montreal Canada, Francois has also built a very successful career however as a Financial Advisor, working in the investment industry for the last 15 years. He has participated on weekly radio shows to educate the public on financial planning strategies.

Francois donates profits of his presentations to charity, like The Make-A-Wish Foundation, World Vision and The Montreal Children’s Hospital. Born prematurely and with underdeveloped lungs, these organizations that saved his life 40 years ago so he could fulfill his dreams today. Francois’ most recent climb of Kilimanjaro benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation in which he lead 29 climbers to the top of Africa with a 100% success rate; a first for an expedition of this size. More importantly, this expedition raised double the donation: nearly $300,000.
