Derek Selinger is a born entertainer and has closely followed entertainment culture as it has affected communication, education and influenced business over the last decade and a half. His enthusiasm and passion come directly from several near death experiences he has faced and overcome in his life. I learned at 8 years old that my mother was electrocuted while pregnant with me! When I learned of this miracle, I had two distinct thoughts. The first was that I had super powers (I picked up my first magic trick that year). The second was the realization, even at that young age, that my life is a gift! says Derek Selinger.

Derek used that motivation to start speaking at the young age of fifteen to audiences in the hundreds and then thousands. A college graduate, his balanced approach comes from investing years as an advisor in post-secondary education. He also played college basketball and later created winning teams as a college basketball coach. His craft of magic, illusions and mind reading, grew quickly into a professional art form from there.
