About Shaun Majumder - Comedian and Humorous Speaker:

Clean, clever and hilarious, Shaun Majumder is the corporate entertainers and stand-up comedian. He is the cast member of This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Shaun has performed in comedy clubs throughout Canada and the US. Former member of the popular sketch comedy group The Bob Room, Shaun's clever unique style of comedy earned him his very own one-hour comedy special on The Comedy Network called On the Edge with Shaun Majumder, which was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Comedy Performance. Shaun received a second Gemini nomination for the Halifax Comedy Festival and in 2002 was awarded the Canadian Comedy Award for Pretty Funny Stand Up.

In addition to his stand-up, Shaun has also appeared in The Second City National Touring Company. His television appearances include CBS's The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and Comedy Central's Premium Blend. His feature film credits include The Ladies Man, Pushing Tin and Purpose.

Shaun has shared stage with other famous comedian at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. In addition to performing there numerous times, Shaun has hosted 15 CBC's Just For Laughs Television Specials over the past two years. He can also be seen on FOX as a series regular on Cedric The Entertainer Presents.
